Who we share your data with

Newstokenpool will never share or use the personal information provided to us online without providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses. Your information is safe with us. We will not sell your personal information to third-parties or non-affiliated companies, except when we have your explicit permission or under the following conditions:

  • In response to law enforcement processes such as court orders, subpoenas, or otherwise to work jointly with state and federal regulators or other legal agencies;
  • We share the information on a confidentiality basis with non-affiliated companies that we are involved with such as agents or contractors who perform routine services, such as administering payments or maintaining software, etc., for us. Information shared with such agents or contractors will only be shared to an extent mandatorily necessary for them to execute their services and will always be in accordance to confidentiality agreements;
  • In the event if we transfer or otherwise sell essentially all of our assets related to any service or product that we offer or any website that we operate or own. In such an event, we will be in need of such third-party to honor our then-current Privacy policy unless the third-party offers you notification of changes to our Privacy Policy and allows you to utilize any rights that you may have under applicable law to limit divulgence of information relating to you;
  • We may share information we collect as described above to direct marketing companies or third-parties to perform marketing services on our behalf.

How long we retain your data

Newstokenpool will retain all personal information collected from you for as long as required by EU law. To provide services to our customers or to support our own marketing programs as described above newstokenpool will retain and use this personal information as necessary to enforce our agreements, resolve disputes and comply with our legal obligations.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information. 

Registered user information is retained in our website’s database indefinitely. Data can be exported or removed upon users request via the existing WordPress data exporter or eraser. 

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. These services may be located abroad and outwith the EU.
